About Me

I am the Co-Founder and C.E.O for Forum for Sustainable Agriculture in Africa, a forum whose initiation was greatly inspired by finding of an action research I was involved in under funding of Agri-ProFocus. The study "Farming as a Business in Uganda" highlighted a number of key bottlenecks one of which was lack of a functional relationship between farmers, financial services (Banks and Insurance firms), markets and innovation/technology generation centers (Universities and Research Organisation); greatly hindering attainment of agricultural intensification. This greatly inspired the formation of FOSAA so as to help bridge the Gap.

Senkosi Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Agricultural Extension Education Option) of Makerere University. Currently persuing a Master of Science in Soil Science (Soil Health) from the same University.

Senkosi worked as a management Trainee (2008-2009) at Kinyara Sugar Limited; a Transport Manager (2009) at Ankole Riverline Limited; and Graduate Research Assistant (2010-2012) at Makerere University under funding from the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM); an opportunity that helped me interface with senior scientists and administrators in the Agricultural Research for Development Continuum.
